Bamboo Shavings is the dried middle shavings of stem of Bambusa tuldoides Munro, Sinocalamus beecheyanus (Munro) MuClure var. pubescens. P.F.Li or Phyllostachys nigra var. henonis Stapf (Fam.Gramineae).
Functions: To remove heat, to resolve phlegm, to relieve restlessness and to arrest vomiting.
