Characteristics and Application :
The turbidity of the product is attributable to a combination of its magnesium oxide content (max. 600 ppm magnesium) and the pH value at which it is supplied. This turbidity has no negative effects on the products properties and disappears if the pH value is adjusted to below 7. PLANTACARE 1200 UP is a nonionic surfactant with good dermatological compatibility and viscosity enhancing effects. Therefore it is suitable for use as an additive or a co-surfactant in cosmetic surfactant cleansing preparations.
Storage :
PLANTACARE 1200 UP can be stored in original unopened containers at below 45° C for at least two years. If the product is stored at temperatures below 38° C crystallization may occur. Depending on the storage time sedimentation may occur. Therefore, the product should be heated and stirred until uniform before use.
